A fundraiser on GoFundMe is making a difference in the lives of a local family going through tough times.

More than $2000 has been raised in just two days for Robin Parra and her family. The beloved friend and co-worker is in need of the support, as she and her 3 sons are staying in Phoenix while her husband Carlo remains hospitalized in Intensive Care for complications from a major stroke. They have been there for several weeks, but are trying to arrange for rehab facilities in Yuma so they can return to their home.

Robin is also expecting a baby girl any day now. In addition to the new arrival and Carlo’s treatment, their 10-year-old boy suffers from heart issues and will need to travel to Boston, Massachusetts for more treatment following the birth of his baby sister.
