The Tempe Chamber of Commerce is accepting applicants to its six-month Women in Business Mentor Program through November 28. In the program, participants will learn how to assess their values, create a vision for their life, set goals and live with purpose and passion.
Protégé candidates selected for the program will develop into stronger, more capable leaders while increasing their business skills and learning how to grow into positions of greater importance and value.
“Each year, protégés from all industries and business – small and large – are mentored by successful members of the business community dedicated to giving back,” said Women in Business Council Chair Tracy Bullock. “The program, initially started to support women in business, has expanded to support the personal and professional growth of both men and women.”
Monthly organized events and workshops are complemented by one-on-one meetings and outings between the protégés and their mentors. The program runs from December 2016 through May 2017 and culminates with a graduation ceremony at the 2017 Women in Business Conference.
Interested candidates can learn more at the Nov. 15 Informational Mixer & Happy Hour at no cost. It will take place from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Salut Kitchen Bar, 1435 East University Drive in Tempe. Complete program details can be found online.
