In Phoenix, Arizona, right off a side street before 16th St. and Bell there exists a unique repair shop. Wizard of Odz specializes in lamp repair.
A statue of a wizard holding what appears to be at first a crystal ball is an orb shaped light bulb. The statue of the Merlin like figure guards the front
of the store. Their motto of five R’s is posted on the front window. They are as follows :repair, refurbish, refinish, rewire and restore.
Another sign on the front says it all: “Largest selection in AZ” as far these following things go… ‘Electrical and lighting parts ,Glass, crystal , chain
and bases.’ Inside are rows of beautifully colored lamp shades and different colored bulbs. These rows seem to go on for an eternity.

These doctors will work hard at prolonging your lamps lightspan. They will work their magic along with their technical skill.
They work their “sorcery” in the back technical room. Might have to ask if you can watch the magic in process. Sometimes they will tell you what is
wrong just by looking at it.

They will also repair other light fixtures such as Chandeliers. You can also look through the store at the many lamps and lampshades available to purchase on the shelves.
There is no long line waiting room . So if your lamp is in dire straits come by for a diagnosis.
