Who doesn’t love a game of cornhole?Ā Grab your friends and head out to the City of Yuma’s Washoes & Cornhole Tournament on Friday, June 22nd from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The event is set for the Yuma Civic Center, and the local community is invited to join in the fun! Get together a team of your family or friends and see if your group can be the Boss of the Toss!
These washoes & cornhole games are popular versions of the much-beloved and classic “horseshoes” game. Players toss washers or beanbags into holes on wooden boards. This is the ideal indoor sport or outdoor activity for backyard barbecues and community events. This Yuma tournament welcomes amateurs and experts to participate in the games, which start at 7:00 pm.
If you sign your two person team up by Thursday, June 21st, you’ll get a $5 discount off the $20 team price. You can take advantage of the ‘early-bird’ discount by pre-registering your team at the Yuma Civic Center, Parks & Recreation department in City Hall, Yuma Art Center in downtown Yuma or online at: https://apm.activecommunities.com/cityofyumaaz/Activity_Search/summer-washoes-cornhole-tournament-online/3880.
On the day of the event, you can show up and register at the Yuma Civic Center at 6:30 p.m. The price will be $20 and games will commence at 7:00 p.m. Anyone 21 and older can compete, and spectators can come and watch for free!
