Looking for a way to make a difference? Bring your friends and family to Picture Canyon Natural and Cultural Preserve for an invasive weed removal event!
Hosted by the City of Flagstaff Open Space Program, this volunteer opportunity will help improve function and wildlife habitat in this beautiful place.
Participants will be removing invasive weeds from the Rio de Flag floodplain, protecting the native species that call this area home. This will be an enjoyable morning of team work and group effort to clean up the stunning landscape.
Attendees should plan to meet at 9 A.M. at primary Picture Canyon trail head, located off of El Paso Flagstaff Road. Everyone should come prepared with water, hiking boots or comfortable shoes for rough surfaces, gloves, and sun protection such as sunscreen, long sleeves, and hats.
