The excitement continues for University of Arizona athletics as the Wildcats Men’s basketball team secured another significant conference win on Sunday.
This was the 14th consecutive win for the team, which is currently ranked 7th. They edged out the Washington Huskies 77-66 at the McKale Center in Tucson. Their home court advantage and enthusiastic, supportive crowd created the ideal atmosphere for an exciting win against a conference competitor.
With only two losses this season, the Wildcats continue gaining momentum with each win. In Sunday’s game, five athletes managed to score double-digit scores, led by Kadeem Allen’s 14 points. The senior Wildcat had five assists and six rebounds, while Kobi Simmons scored 13 points for his team.
Following this big win, the Arizona Wildcats now lead the Oregon Ducks by one game at the midway point of the Pac-12 Conference season. Arizona looks to continue their streak as they head out on the road to visit the Oregon schools at the end of the week.
