VIDEO: Visit 100 Artist Studios In One Place at Celebration of Fine Art

Art is in season this winter in Scottsdale! The 27th Annual Celebration of Fine Art has kicked off in Scottsdale, and will be offering artistic inspiration through the end of March.

Over 100 artists have set up shop, housing their studio space in big white tents just Southwest of Hayden Road and the Loop 101. The public is invited and encouraged to stop by and observe the artists as they create their work, and engage in discussions about art and what it means for the community.

The studios will be open daily through March 26 from 10 am to 6 pm. This is the 27th consecutive year of this event, and each year offers something new and different. This event is ideal for art lovers, collectors, historians and artists who want to connect with others who share their passion and visit 100 artist studios in one day! The event features art in a variety of styles, everything from traditional to contemporary.

I am a multimedia journalist and proud graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication. I am originally from Minnesota, and I love learning about my second home, Arizona, and all of it's awesome communities through my contributions to My Local News! When I was a little girl, I created my own "newspaper" for my neighborhood and spent all my time writing, printing and sending each edition to my loyal subscribers (AKA my family and neighbors!). Now, it's a dream come true to be able to write everyday and have a positive impact on communities through my reporting. In my free time, I love to travel, hike, cook and spend time with my family and friends.
