VIDEO: Upcoming Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market

This weekend, the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market is returning to the valley, bigger and better than ever! The WestWorld of Scottsdale will be bursting with over 170 handpicked Arizona vendors, showcasing their vintage, handmade and antique wares.

Shoppers can find treasures big and small, from unique furniture pieces to delicate handcrafted jewelry. The Junk in the Trunk market provides creative local Arizona vendors the chance to shine and present their treasures to a large audience. There are also fabulous giveaways, vintage photo opportunities and infinite amounts of design inspiration from the dazzling array of vendors!

Junk in the Trunk have partnered with several Phoenix area Young Life chapters to help send children to camp. When shoppers purchase a large piece of furniture, Young Life staff will carry their items to the holding zone and help with loading purchases into vehicles. Donations and tips are appreciated for these kids, as all proceeds help them get to summer camp.

There are four options for shopping sessions, the first being on the evening of Friday, September 16th from 5-9 PM. Each ticket includes 1 drink (soda, water, beer or wine), canvas bag, all weekend re-entry. There is also an early bird session on Saturday morning from 8 to 9 am, which includes early entry and general admission for Saturday and Sunday. The full day shopping experiences for Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th run from 9 am to 4 pm, and tickets will be $8 at the gate.

I am a multimedia journalist and proud graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication. I am originally from Minnesota, and I love learning about my second home, Arizona, and all of it's awesome communities through my contributions to My Local News! When I was a little girl, I created my own "newspaper" for my neighborhood and spent all my time writing, printing and sending each edition to my loyal subscribers (AKA my family and neighbors!). Now, it's a dream come true to be able to write everyday and have a positive impact on communities through my reporting. In my free time, I love to travel, hike, cook and spend time with my family and friends.
