Catalina Foothills Church is putting on a special night for deserving young people in the Tucson area and you can help make it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The Tucson area church is participating in a fantastic event with more than 350 other churches from around the world. Together, the coalition is putting on a special evening event called a “Night to Shine” on Friday, February 10.
Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, “Night to Shine” is a prom for special needs people, ages 14-22. The memorable evening will be held at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, located at 710 S. Kolb Road in Tucson.
In a news release, the Tim Tebow Foundation stated that “Every guest of Night to Shine enters on a red carpet complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors for each honored guest and, of course, a dance floor… all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom.”
The Tim Tebow Foundation hosted it’s inaugural event in 2015, with 15,000 volunteers and 7,000 honored guests. This year’s event is expected to be the biggest and best yet. With the event’s size and scope, any help , volunteers or donations are much appreciated. You can sign up to help HERE or contribute HERE.
