VIDEO: Slide The City Event Returns to Valley

Slide the City, the annual event that boasts a slick vinyl slide measuring 1,000 feet long, is returning to the Valley at the end of September, this time to take over a stretch of road in Fountain Hills. This is the perfect weekend activity for Scottsdale families and others in the area, as this slip-n-slide extravaganza features live music, food, drinks and much more.

The sliding fun will take place throughout the day on Saturday, September 24th. Guests are encouraged to bring water balloons, water guns and pool accessories-the wetter you are, the more fun you will have! This is a great way to cool off from the late summer heat. For maximum speed and safety, all riders will need an inflatable tube to go down the slide, which they can receive at the registration tent and check-in.

The check-in location for this year’s event is located at:

15899 E Palisades Blvd, Fountain Hills, Arizona, 85268
