In less than two months, thousands of students will graduate from Arizona State University and begin looking for their first full-time job.
To help, ASU Career and Professional Development Services is hosting a variety of employer visits throughout the spring, and the next one will be Sherwin Williams.
The employer site visit is planned for 4 to 7 pm on Friday, April 7th.
Sherwin Williams has been America’s leading ready-to-use paint supplier for the past 150 years, but the company does much more than just selling cans of paint. Sherwin Williams products have covered and protected some of the country’s most iconic places, including the White House and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
This site visit is designed to give graduates the chance to envision their future career at Sherwin Williams. Students will visit the Scottsdale store, complete with a dinner reception and an inside look at the company’s operations and culture, as well as an overview of their recognized Management/Sales Training Program (MTP). This unique program prepares young professionals for a successful career with the company by combining structured, on-the-job training, self-study modules, classroom instruction and ongoing education. This program encompasses careers in the areas of sales, marketing, financial management, store operations and human resource management.
Sun Devils, reserve your spot today to get the chance to paint the town with Sherwin Williams. In order to attend this site visit, students must attend one preparatory session. The in-person prep session will be held at the Tempe Campus in SSV 329 from 10 am to 10:30 am. Please note that participants should bring laptops or tablets to the session. There will also be a virtual webinar prep session on Monday, April 3rd, from 10 to 10:30 am.
