Software engineers, tech support and administrative professionals: Tempe companies are hiring right now and need your skills.
ZipRecruiter and Endurance International Group announced their expansions and hiring plans for 2017. At least 900 jobs will be available. The Tempe-based companies are doubling in size both in terms of staff and real estate.
“The investments by global companies like Endurance International and ZipRecruiter in Tempe mean more quality jobs for our City,” Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell said. “This is also a validation of our longstanding philosophy that by creating a destination where people want to live and play, we also create a destination where businesses want to locate.”
More than 2,000 tech jobs have posted or will open in Tempe in the next few months at companies including these companies and others like Willis Towers Watson and Entertainment Partners. Companies report that Tempe’s educated, diverse workforce, the access to transportations like light rail, bike paths and bus system, along with a lifestyle that offers fun activities at Tempe Town Lake and Mill Avenue, make Tempe a great place for growing a business.

Both ZipRecruiter and Endurance International are located within a mile of Tempe Town Lake, where already more than 40,000 people work.

ENDURANCE INTERNATIONAL GROUP
Endurance International Group, a global web hosting and web services company, is doubling the size of its Tempe operations by hiring 600 new positions between February and October 2017. Positions range from managers to technical support, sales and professional services.
The Endurance family of brands includes: Constant Contact, Bluehost, HostGator, iPage, Domain.com, BigRock, SiteBuilder and SinglePlatform, among others.
To accommodate its rapid growth, the company is adding 71,000 square feet of office space to the existing 68,000 square feet that currently houses operations. Endurance is investing $1.8 million to build out the additional space.

Endurance also donated headphones to Tempe Scales Technology Academy and announced a partnership to develop an after school Technology Club for the students.
ZipRecruiter
ZipRecruiter has seen tremendous growth since it opened its Tempe location. The firm has hired 200 people and recently expanded to take more than 26,000 square feet at Hayden Ferry Lakeside, 40 W. Rio Salado Parkway.
ZipRecruiter plans to double their Tempe workforce to nearly 500 people by the end of 2017, and is currently hiring for positions such as customer support, software developer, business analyst and more.
