Tucsonans are encouraged to put aside their differences for an event designed to promote peace and unity.

The Tucson Peace Center is an organization of peacemakers that promote awareness and events relating to peace, justice and environmental concerns and groups. Perhaps their biggest and most recognizable event of all is the annual Peace Fair & Musical Festival, Arizona’s largest gathering of peace seekers.

The public is encouraged to attend the 2017 Peace Fair, set for Saturday, February 25th, from 11 am to 5 pm. This year’s event will take place at the Armory Park Center (222 S. 5th Avenue).

Attendees will experience live music and entertainment, children’s activities, food and much more! There will be representatives from many organizations and services providing information about peace, environment, and justice causes.

The event is free and open to all community members. Stop by and learn more about the terrific efforts of local groups fighting for peace and equality.
