
Political science majors have a unique opportunity at Arizona State University.
The popular McCain Institute Policy Design Studio and Internship program will now be accepting applications through Friday, May 5 to give more students the chance to apply.
During the fall 2017 semester, students will gain valuable skills as an intern at an organization of interest to them, including government agencies, lobbying and consulting firms media outlets, advocacy groups, think tanks, museums and non-profits in Washington D.C. During the program students will get to research solutions to real world foreign policy issues during weekly seminars at the McCain Institute, led by a U.S. Ambassador, as well as visit government agencies, historical sites and networking events.
Students will live in a community with their fellow Sun Devils and earn 12 upper division POS credits toward their degree. Interested students must be a junior by the semester they plan to participate and have a 3.0 ASU GPA at the time of application.
