The Tucson community should know about an upcoming news conference over the weekend ahead of a big announcement from local law enforcement agencies.

Authorities from the Tucson Police Department, Pima County Sheriff’s Office and Pima County Attorney’s Office will be on hand for the major news conference, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15.

Officials with the Tucson Police Department said that they will be publicly announcing the major felony indictment handed down on Friday afternoon, with the news conference taking place at TPD headquarters.

Notable figures that are expected to speak include TPD Chief Chris Magnus, Pima County Sheriff Mark Napier and Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall.
