Trespasser Faces Charges in Chandler Incident
A valley man is facing charges for a trespassing incident that happened earlier this summer.
31-year-old Curtis Raul Stevenson was arrested  at the start of the month for criminal trespassing. Chandler Police officials say Stevenson trespassed and made his way into a Chandler residence, where he used drugs and set up “booby traps” that injured the homeowner.
Stevenson allegedly entered the Chandler home near Arizona Avenue and Elliot Road in late July. Not only did he take drugs there, but he also placed a large kitchen knife atop the front door. When the homeowner came home. The knife dropped onto his head, causing a considerable gash.
The victim’s son, who is a former acquaintance of Stevenson, confronted the suspect, who fled naked from the home and escaped. Police later discovered drug paraphernalia on a table in the house.
Stevenson was located and taken into custody last week, where he was charged with criminal trespassing.
