ASPIRE Academy at Connolly is proud to announce Math Explorations PBL Teacher Ariel Roller has been announced the winner of Cox CONNECT2STEM Teacher Techie Award!
The CONNECT2STEM Awards presented by Cox Communications, in partnership with AZ SciTech, honored STEM connectors in the areas of business, non-profit, education, media, and afterschool programs.
In April, thanks to the help of parents in the community, Ms. Roller was honored as this year’s recipient of the Teacher Techie Award at the second annual CONNECT2STEM Awards, which took place on May 5. As one of the winners, Ms. Roller received the following:
- $1,000 charitable donation to the STEM organization/program of her choice.
- 30-second commercial produced by Cox Communications highlighting the STEM activity.
- Featured in a video describing their STEM efforts.
