Receiving the exciting news on his birthday, Tempe Prep senior, Enrique Favaro, has been honored with a prestigious Flinn Foundation Scholarship.
The Flinn Scholarship Program provides an unparalleled package for undergraduate study at an Arizona public university, and is awarded to 20 of Arizona’s highest-achieving high school seniors each year.
Mr. Favaro a senior at Tempe Prep, recognized as a National Merit Hispanic Scholar and Academic All-American at Speech and Debate, stood out against over 700 competing applicants across the state.
As a Flinn Scholar, Mr. Favaro will receive full scholarships to honor colleges at any state university in Arizona, in addition to room and board and at least two travel abroad experiences, a total value of more than $115,000. Mr. Favaro has chosen to attend Arizona State University to study accountancy.
Flinn Scholars also will have the opportunity to work closely with top faculty and researchers, meet business and civic leaders in their field and form their own community and alumni network.

We are so proud to have Enrique represent Tempe Prep as he commences the journey of the rest of his life fully prepared for success.”
