
Join us to celebrate the season and sing along with orchestra and lead choir, the glorious music of Handel’s “The Messiah.” Or just come to listen at this free event on Sunday, December 18th from 7:00-9:00pm at the Tempe South Stake, 1111 E. Knox Road in Tempe.
This is a free event and no donations will be solicited. Come early for seating, as we expect a full house.
A limited number of vocal scores will be available to borrow, or bring your own score. Light refreshments will be served at the end of the event.
Choruses: “And the Glory of the Lord,” “O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings to Zion,” “For Unto Us a Child is Born,” “Glory to God,” “Behold the Lamb of God,” “Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs,” and “Hallelujah Chorus.”
Orchestra conducted by Vassilios Miltiades Makavos.
