
On Saturday, March 25th, the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at Arizona State University will present the 11th annual James Case Memorial Workshop.
This informative workshop will present ways to better diagnose and manage cognitive-linguistic deficits in adults with mild cognitive impairment, aphasia, and dementia.
Dr. Heather Harris Wright will discuss “Cognitive-Linguistic Assessments and Management in Neurogenic Communication Disorders.”
The workshop will take place from 9 am to 4 pm on the ASU Tempe Campus in Coor Hall, room 120.
The workshop includes several learning objectives, such as attendees will be able to detail normal age-related changes in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and cognitive-linguistic processes, and attendees will be able to describe common methods for evaluating cognitive, linguistic, and communicative abilities useful for individuals with mild cognitive impairment, dementia and aphasia.
