Take Action Phoenix is taking a stand in the possibility of loosened text amendment.
Take Action Phoenix is currently petitioning against text amendment Z-TA-22-08, stating that it would loosen the already minimal requirements for sober living homes. They express their major concerns if this updated text amendment were to pass. Concerns include reasonable accommodation guidelines, implementing of health and safety, and the registration of all sober living homes.

They state that Phoenix already allows many of these sober living homes to operate with little to no regulation for those who are seeking recovery. They’ve expressed their concerns at city council meetings and will continue to petition.
Take Action Phoenix wants residents of Phoenix to spread the word of text amendment Z-TA-22-08. They are fighting for better management and structure of sober living homes in the city of Phoenix, not only for the neighborhood but for the residents residing in these sober living homes.
