Beloved Fred Rogers, better known as PBS Kids’ Mister Rogers, once said “In times of stress, the best thing we can do for each other is to listen with our ears and our hearts and to be assured that our questions are just as important as our answers.” Well, a new study indicates that Tucson residents should take this advice to heart, as they were ranked the most stressed residents in the state of Arizona.
This is all according to a recent WalletHub report that ranks the 150 largest cities in the country across four metrics- work, financial, health and safety and family stress.
While some Arizona cities were named the least stressed in the country, Tucson was ranked 50 overall, the highest position for the state.
According to WalletHub, Tucson residents were ranked 123 overall when it comes to work stress, but they were much more concerned about health and safety (ranked 32), family (ranked 38) and financial (ranked 42) issues.
The study determined that people living in Newark, New Jersey, and Detroit were the most stressed while residents of Plano, Texas, and Fremont, California, were the least stressed.
