Be honest with yourself – you’re never going to repair that old laptop or sew new buttons onto that raggedy old shirt.
Instead of sending your old stuff to a landfill, recycle it at I Recycle Phoenix, the Valley’s premier recycling festival taking place at Desert Ridge Marketplace on Saturday, April 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. behind the AMC Theatres.
Keep Phoenix Beautiful will accept items that are taking up space in homes, offices, closets, drawers and garages. Items collected will be recycled or donated to local nonprofits.
Donate or recycle virtually anything, including non-perishable food items, electronics, cell phones, phone books, sports equipment, writing utensils, inkjet cartridges, clothing and so much more.
In addition to dropping off articles for the recycling event, Keep Phoenix Beautiful will also provide on-site document shredding. The public can bring up to five banker boxes of documents to shred for FREE. Shredding will be available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., or until the truck is full. Documents can also be dropped off for off-site shredding at any time during the event.
