
A small plane has crashed northwest of Wickenburg in central Arizona, but thankfully both occupants are expected to survive.
According to preliminary information from the Federal Aviation Administration, a single-engine Cirrus SR22 went down around 11:40 a.m. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The plane crashed 24 miles northwest of Wickenburg in a very remote part of Yavapai County. One of the two people on board was transported to a Phoenix-area hospital for evaluation and treatment, while the second person did not require medical attention, according to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
