The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.
Officials issued a Silver Alert for Gordon Zeena, a 51-year-old man who was last seen at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10. He left on foot from his car home located in the 8000 block of East Joshua Tree Lane, not far from Indian Bend and Pima Roads.
Scottsdale Police say Zeena suffers from a traumatic brain injury that affects his ability to communicate and remember. He also has minor dementia. They say he has wandered off before, ending up at his wife’s residence outside of Flagstaff, a homeless shelter in Phoenix or area stores. There is a chance he is out and about in the local community, so residents are strongly encouraged to look out or him.
Zeena is described as a 5-foot-4, 188-pound Native American or Alaska Native with brown eyes and grey hair.
Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
