The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will host a special movie screening of The Thomas Crown Affair. This event will give art lovers in the community a chance to interact with professionals at the museum while enjoying a captivating film centered on a scandal involving a classic masterpiece.

During the screening, museum professionals will provide live commentary on the film, generating an in-depth discussion on museums, security and the high value placed on original copies of art.

The 1999 film stars Pierce Brosnan as Thomas Crown and Rene Russo as Catherine Banning. Crown is a bored billionaire who seeks entertainment through stealing a prized Monet painting from a museum, and Banning is on the hunt for clues as an investigator for the museum’s insurance company. Romantic tension builds as the case goes on.
