Students are invited to engage in their futures by joining the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute Millennial Council.
The Millennial Council aims to engage citizens ages 18-35, through increasing awareness about important issues and topics and developing actionable solutions, outcomes and valuable leadership skills.
Their next event will be this Thursday, April 13, from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. in the W.P. Carey Armstrong Great Hall at the Beus Center for Law and Society (111 E. Taylor Street in downtown Phoenix).
At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Arizona’s political outlook and how to get involved, discuss issues that matter to them, and socialize with other young thinkers over margaritas and taquitos.
Chris Herstam, chairman of the Arizona Government Relations Practice, will present an “Arizona Political Reality Check,” and Lauren Gilger of 91.5 KJZZ will moderate a question and answer discussion.
