Poetry aficionados, mark your calendars! The Rinky Dink Press, a Phoenix-based publisher of micro-poetry in micro-zine form, is launching a new event on Thursday, December 8, celebrating it’s second series of published poets.
Series Two will take place at Grand Central Coffee Company (718 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85004) from 7-9 pm.
The evening will include readings and appearances from a diverse collection of poets, each with a unique style. Featured poets come from all walks of life and cities throughout the country, including Phoenix, Flagstaff, LA, Seattle, Toronto, Kansas City, Cleveland, Augusta, Tampa and New York.
Authors and editors of the press will present a wide array of poetry at the event, and the community is invited to stop by for an evening of excellence in poetry and literature. The micro-zine collections from both series one and two will also be available for purchase.
Rinky Dink Press publishes ten single-author collections twice a year, in early May and December, and it aims to get poetry back in the hands of readers everywhere. Each of the single author collections can fit in pockets, but, despite the tiny format, each is made from treeless paper composed of sugarcane waste.
