The Town of Queen Creek’s splash pad opened today for the season, meaning there is a lot of fun to be had for local families!
Through April, the splash pad will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On May 1, opening hours will expand to 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Queen Creek’s splash pad is located at Founders Park in Town Center (22407 S. Ellsworth Road). The popular attraction boasts 4,100 square feet of wet and wild water fun, including water cannons, spray rings, dumping buckets, a custom Queen Creek water tower and shade structures.
The splash pad is the perfect way for children to take a break from the desert heat. To ensure safety and fun for all attendees, every 90 minutes the water will shut off for a five-minute safety break. The five-minute break provides an opportunity for attendees to hydrate, reapply sunscreen and use the restroom.
