Queen Creek Schools and Business Leaders Team Up for Student Success
What do students lack when they enter the workforce? When surveyed, business leaders in the southeast valley said “soft skills” such as decision making, interview skills and critical thinking. Manned with that information, a team of school and business leaders created a one of a kind conference called ‘Elevate for Tomorrow: E4T‘.
On Tuesday, February 7, 2017 more than one thousand high school juniors from Queen Creek and surrounding areas will attend “E4T”. This conference, sponsored by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce and Chick-fil-A, is designed to help students explore options after graduating high school and learn new interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in the workforce.

At the E4T conference, students will hear from nationally recognized speakers and have networking opportunities. Students will also have the chance to meet college recruiters and local employers.

College recruiters attending include Central Arizona College, University of Arizona, Ottawa University, Northern Arizona University, ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College, Maricopa Community College District, Benedictine University and Prescott College.
