The Prescott Valley Police Foundation held its second annual golf tournament and ball drop fundraiser last month, and it was a smashing success.
Held at Stone Ridge in Prescott, the event raised over $10,000, which will go a long way toward helping the foundation continue their purpose of supporting the police department by raising funds to cover non-budgeted equipment and resources that ultimately help them save lives.
Following the fantastic event, the foundation released this statement: “We thank all the golfers, individuals and businesses who sponsored 12 police officers to golf, prize sponsors and all the volunteers helping with the work. Thank you all for participating and making this a great event.”
Central Arizona Fire and Medical helped by organizing the ball drop event, where the winner took home a cash prize of $940.
