We love publishing your local news, events, articles, news releases, restaurant reviews, opinions, fundraising events, and more. Our only requests are that the article relates to an Arizona City or Town and that it is written in such a way as to engage our readers.  We also ask that your article be a minimum of 300 words so that it trends well on Google. There is no maximum length.

We review all news article submittals and gauge them against our news values and guidelines. If your article is selected, it may be edited for quality, clarity and appearance, then posted to our site along with Facebook, Google+, Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, Tumbler, Redit, Stumble upon and variety of other social media sites.

What is My Local News – AZ’s outreach? 
Your published articles are posted on the community(s) web sites that they reference. Community Newsletters are sent out every Wednesday morning and a weekly roundup of all of our news is sent out every Thursday morning to 125,000+ subscribers.  Of course we also recommend that you share each of your articles with your social media followers as well. We have between 70,000 and 120,000 visitors per month that spend an average of 5:50min on the site.  Our visitors access between 110,000 to 160,000 page views per month. 

Do you pay for quality content?
We have both hourly and contract witting positions available.  For high quality, engaging content we pay between $25.00 and $100.00 per article.  If you would like to be a MLN contract writer we suggest that you first submit an article and then reach out to us via our contact page so that we can start a dialogue. 

Please tell me more about my personal byline and bio?
We believe that a critical part of our platform is that you control your content, byline and bio. Each and every article you publish will read by: your name.  At the bottom of each of your articles is your bio information along with a photo / graphic of your choosing. 

Who are your Content Sources?
Although a majority of our content comes from writers, journalists, pr companies and others wanting to expand their outreach we do hire writers on a contract basis. Promoting realestate listings is one of our specialities.  Please click here to take you to our Preferred Listing section. If you would like to write a general article that does not mention a specific listing such as a market analysis please feel welcome.

Can I submit an article to promote products or services?
Perhaps you might be interested in our sponsored content advertising to promote your local business.  We also have freelance journalists that are available to write an engaging article on your business.

Can I submit Video Posts? 
You can imbed a You Tube or Viemo Video in your article simply by providing the link when you submit an article.  These video articles also seem to trend well on social media.
