Prescott Film Festival Highlights Independent Films From Around the World

Launched in 2009, the Prescott Film Festival returns this year, June 9-17, at Yavapai College in Prescott.

The mission of the Prescott Film Festival is to provide the community with cultural events that entertain, inspire and inform while supporting independent and critically acclaimed films and filmmakers from around the world.

The Multi-day Festival includes multiple screenings of quality independent and foreign films, sneak-peeks of films prior to wide distribution, FREE workshops, social events such as our annual wine tasting and Closing Night Cabaret Party, filmmaker interviews, hosted in the lovely Performing Arts Center at Yavapai College. 

The festival also hosts a High School Filmmakers Annual Film Competition, introduced at the 2014 annual festival. It is conducted in partnership with the Yavapai College Film & Media Arts program.

This year’s festival will feature:

18 Film Programs all screening in the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center

6 Continents represented at Que Syrah, Syrah Wine Tasting

2 Films with Horses
1 Swing Dance with Live Music
1 Gourmet Dinner from Senses Pop-up Dinners
1 Closing Night Cabaret Party

Ten-ticket packs may be purchased for $100 each; All-Film passes for $10 each; and Platinum Passes for $275 each. On Friday, June 16th, festival-goers may attend the “Que Syrah, Syrah Wine Tasting” for $355 per person which includes a sampling of wines from around the world and local vintages from Arizona to compare, as well as light hors d’oeuvres and a movie ticket.  Purchase tickets
