“Eat Mor Chikin…” and more tasty sides!

Phoenix is one of the cities where popular fast food chain Chick-fil-A  has started testing family style meals with two new sides.

Diners in Phoenix can now try out mac and cheese and bacon baked beans as part of a family size meal option.

The new meals will start as low as $29.99 and include one entree, two sides and eight mini rolls, enough to serve four people. Entree options include 30 chicken nuggets, four fried or grilled chicken breasts, or 12 chicken strips. Accompanying side dishes include the bacon baked beans and mac and cheese, as well as a salad, fruit bowl or superfood side.

The company, based in Atlanta, said that 36 percent of it’s dinner patrons take their meals to-go in lieu of dining inside, and their latest menu offering will “serve a growing demand for takeout options.”

Phoenix is one of three cities across the country that are offering these family style meals and new sides for a limited time through November 18. These special menu offerings are also available in Greensboro, North Carolina and San Antonio, Texas.

Chick-fil-A plans to use customer feedback to determine if these new sides and family style meals will be added to menus across America.
