
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man involved in a scary incident at a local gas station.
On Monday, May 7 around 10:30 pm, a clerk at the Mobil gas station at 51st Avenue and Indian School Road asked a male customer to leave after he began behaving erratically.
The man is seen on surveillance brandishing a knife and threatening the employee before exiting the store. He grabbed a cigar display before leaving.
The suspect is thought to be between 20 to 24 years in age and 150 to 170 pounds. He did not have a shirt on at the time of the incident but he was wearing a red baseball hat, dark colored shorts and red sneakers.
Anyone with any information on the man or his whereabouts is asked to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
