Do your part and help out furry friends in need!

PODS Tucson is partnering with 94.9 Mix FM and 106.3 Groove to collect new and used animal crates and pet food for the second annual “Crates and Kibble” donation drive, which kicks off on Monday, March 13th and goes through Sunday, March 26th.

This year’s donation drive will benefit the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, the oldest and largest non-profit in the southern part of the state, which strives to make life better for all furry friends and their owners, and create a community in which all pets are cared for and loved.

The donations will make a huge difference for the shelter animals and the staff and volunteers who take care of them. Suggested donations include gently used or new crates, dry or canned animal food, pet toys and treats.

The local radio stations are promoting the drive and encouraging listeners to donate for a worthy cause.

For those wishing to donate, there will be a PODS container stationed at the Tucson Pet Club (7101 E. Broadway Blvd at the corner of Broadway and Kolb). There, locals can drop off their donations and fill up the PODS container!
