While Shark Week 2017 technically doesn’t begin until July 23, shark lovers can start honoring their favorite ferocious predator at a new exhibit at the Arizona Science Center.
Planet Shark: Predator or Prey is open daily through Monday, May 29. Children and parents alike will delight in the SENSORY4 Technology that provides a multi-sensory cinematic experience with a close look at the lives of these great ocean creatures.
Guests can check out shark models from real animals, as well as the teeth, jaws and fossils of sharks dating back 370 million years old as they trace millions of years of evolution.
The experience was created by Grande Exhibitions in association with SENSORY4TM and is supported by APS and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona.
The exhibit is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, and admission prices are $11.95 for adults and $9.95 for children ages 3-17.
