Sunday, November 19th Taste the flavors of Arizona’s best Pies!
This year’s pie social has released it’s lineup for the event on Sunday, November 19th! The eighth annual Pie Social, co-sponsored by Roosevelt Row and Phoenix New Times, is to be held at Margaret T. Hance Park at 2 pm.
Even if you are not a celebrity chef, community bakers can bring two pies and get 5 tasting tickets in exchange. The event tasting tickets will be sold for $15 and will receive five tasting tickets.
A couple spots for celebrity chefs who make their pies in a commercial kitchen are still open. Requirements also include being able to bring 15 pies to the event. Chefs and bakers who want to participate in the celebrity chef category, must also be available from noon to 5 pm on the 19th on the day of the event.
The 2017 proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Phoenix Union Bioscience High School, Arizona School for the Arts, Hance Park Conservancy, and Roosevelt Row CDC.
