A pickup truck left the road and slammed into a house in Mesa on Friday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.

The incident took place at a residence near Val Vista Drive and Broadway Road. According to Mesa Police, the driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The homeowner was also injured in the incident.
