The Phoenix Zoo is transforming into a winter wonderland on Saturday, July 15!

Enjoy the chilly activities Saturday morning from 7-11 am. Winter in July will include tons of snow, wet and wild play areas, and watch the animals as they enjoy icy snacks!

Saturday’s chilly activities are included in the zoo’s general admission price. Winter In July will not require an additional cost! The Zoo will have snowy blizzard’s lakeside throughout the duration of the morning which will take place every 30 minutes!

The Phoenix Zoo’s Winter Wonderland is providing visitors with over 40 Tons of Snow. In addition, the event entails activities for the snow such as Snow Targets, Squirt Gun Targets, a Toddler Snow Pile and a Snowman Building Pile.

Winter In July does not stop there, the Phoenix Zoo adds more entertainment to the scene with a live musical performance. Saturday morning, DJ Rockin Rob will be providing live music and games to the Zoo’s visitors.

The Zoo’s Komodo Grass provides a first aid station, to attend for all children at play. In addition, not only is the Komodo Grass a safety spot but is also a Cool Zone. The Cool Zone assures all visitors are enjoying the Chilly Winter Wonderland!
