Fans of horror and rock-shows will enjoy this retelling of the bloody legend of America’s favorite favorite axe-wielding double-murderess and Victorian hometown girl, Lizzie Borden. The young woman achieved notiereity in 1892 after ending her father and stepmother’s lives, using an axe as the murder weapon. This bloody, true story has inspired an array of shows and depictions, including a 1965 opera and two distinct musicals.
A/C Theatre presents this small-cast rock setting version by Steven Cheslik-deMeyer, Tim Maner, and Alan Stevens Hewitt at the Hardes Theatre at Phoenix Theatre.
