On Memorial Day weekend, the popular Peoria Sports Complex will host the USSSA Memorial Day Global NIT, giving young baseball players the chance to compete and have fun.

Kicking off on Saturday, May 27, the tournament will run through the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 29. Players ages eight through eighteen will take the field, and community members are invited to stop by and catch the athletes in action.

Peoria Sports Complex is located at 16101 N. 83rd Avenue, and it is the spring training home of Major League Baseball teams San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners.
