Sun Devil students, the ASU School of Nutrition and Health Promotion needs participants for a research study.
They are recruiting students eighteen years and older with a waist circumference greater than 35 inches for females and 40 inches for males. They are working on a study on glycemic control.
The study will examine the effects of delicious muffins that are supplemented with resistant starch, a type of starch that is beneficial for glycemic control and gut health. Participation includes one 10-minute screening visit and two 2-hour visits to the nutrition lab at the Downtown Phoenix campus.
Each participant will be provided a $40 Target gift card.
