Plans and preparations are underway for the Phoenix Summit Challenge on Saturday, November 17. This event will bring together over a thousand hikers who will tackle some of the area’s most challenging mountains, with the most ambitious hikers heading up 7 summits in just one day!
After the hot and hard work, the event will finish with the U-Rock Festival at the base of South Mountain Park/Preserve. Here, hikers will enjoy food and fun, with opportunities to meet new people and reconnect with fellow hikers.
The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department has released the registration dates for PSC18. Team registration will open on Tuesday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m. Those who want to attempt all 7 summits can register on Thursday, August 30th at 10:00 a.m. Registration for PHX5 will commence on Tuesday, September 4th at 10:00 a.m., while
PHX4 & All Abilities registration will open on Thursday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m.
