A Brooklyn woman has been charged following a scary incident on the New York Subway late last month.
40-year-old Anna Lushchinskaya, a white woman, got into an altercation with a 24-year-old female passenger of Asian descent. According to the New York Police Department, Lushchinskaya bumped into the victim before yelling profanities on the northbound D train, including derogatory and racist statements. She went on to hit the victim with an umbrella and keys, and as a result she’s been charged with felony assault.
Authorities say witnesses filmed the incident, during which Lushchinskaya can be heard using racial slur directed at the woman. Lushchinskaya was apprehended and arrested at the 36th Street Station, authorities reported.
