New York City Police Locate Stolen Car with Kids Inside

New York police in a helicopter located three young children inside a stolen car taken from a Brooklyn neighborhood.

The terrifying incident unfolded Friday evening in the Canarsie neighborhood, when a man slipped behind the wheel of the SUV while the mother popped into a store.

According to the authorities, the children – two girls and a boy 1, 2 and 8 years old, were taken to a hospital as a precaution before being reunited with their parents. The kids did not appear to be harmed.

No other details were released at the time as police continued to search for the suspect.
