“New Voices in Black Cinema” Set For April 27

Black Film Space and New Voices in Black Cinema have teamed up to present a screening and discussion of a feature film.

The event will be hosted at the Peter Jay Sharp Building at BAM Rose Cinemas (30 Lafayette Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217). There, guests will be treated to a viewing of ‘One Bedroom,’ a film directed by Darien Sills-Evans about a couple in their thirties who live in a gentrifying section of Brooklyn and their attempts to disentangle their lives.

Following the film, Sills-Evans will be on hand for a Q&A discussion.

The event starts at 7 pm and tickets are $15. RSVP now on the official website HERE.
