Police Investigating Shooting in Queens

NYPD Officials are investigating a drive-by shooting in Queens on Sunday night.

Police said the man and woman were sitting in a car on 243rd Street in Rosedale, in front of G’s Restaurant and Bar, when they were shot.

The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Police said the 23-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks and a 25-year-old man was shot in the abdomen. Both of them were taken to nearby Franklin General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The police investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made. Police have yet to release a description on the suspect.
