As Pirates of the Caribbean’s Captain Jack Sparrow says “Why is the rum always gone?”

Well, one thing’s for sure- the rum won’t be gone at the New York Rum Festival next weekend!

Set for Saturday, September 30th from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the festival will take place at SOB’s in Greenwich. The event will celebrate rum’s many uses and variations- whether it be spiking a frothy umbrella drink on a tropical beach or taking a Classic Coke to the next level. The festival’s four-hour “Rum Aficionado” session will include plenty of samples from a mix of brands, a souvenir tasting cup, mixology demos, and fun activities and music.

Tickets are on sale for $65 for two people. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit the official website.

SOB’s is located at 204 Varick Street.
