NYPD Searching for Suspect in Crown Heights Shooting

The New York Police Department is continuing it’s investigation into an early Saturday morning shooting that claimed the life of a young man.

The victim was shot and killed outside a bodega at 790 Franklin Avenue in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn.

According to the NYPD, officers repsonded to reports of a male shot just before 4:30 a.m. Upon their arrival, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.


No arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation. Anyone with information in regards to this incident, or who was in vicinity of Franklin Finest Deli early Saturday morning, is asked to call NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
